Dr. Luigi Brochard

Dr. Luigi Brochard is Lenovo Distinguished Engineer in Lenovo HPC & AI WW team. As IBM, he was the lead architect of many large HPC systems IBM installed in Europe with POWER, Blue Gene and x86 processor architecture like CINECA, BSC, LRZ, Juelich, DKRZ. He also lead the development of the Energy Aware Scheduling features which are included in IBM Tivoli LoadLeveler and in IBM Spectrum Load Sharing Facility. One of his new mission at Lenovo is to lead the Open Source SW strategy for HPC and AI. Luigi has a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and HDR in Computer Sciences from Pierre & Marie Curie University in Paris, France.
