Olaf SchneiderKIT, Head of Department Scientific Computing and Simulation at the Steinbuch Centre for Computing (SCC)
Olaf Schneider studied mathematics and earned his PhD in mathematics at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Since 2014, he is heading the department for Scientific Computing and Simulation at the Steinbuch Centre for Computing (SCC) of the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT). At the same time, he joined the project “Simulated Worlds”, in which two German HPC Centers –SCC and HLRS – try to arouse interest for the topic “simulation” at secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg. |
