Christian Godenschwager

University of Erlangen-Nuremberg

Christian Godenschwager studied computer science at the university of Karlsruhe and is now a PhD student at the Chair for System Simulation at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg led by Prof. Ulrich Rüde. The focus of his research is on simulations in complex geometries using the lattice Boltzmann method including blood flow simulations. He is one of the main developers of the waLBerla framework, designed for high-performance, large-scale simulations on structured grids.
