Dr. Christian R. Trott

Computational Scientist, Sandia National Laboratories
 

Christian Trott is a computational scientist focused on writing performance portable code for modern compute platforms. In 2011 he earned a Dr. rer. nat. in theoretical physics at the University of Technology Ilmenau in Germany. Since then Christian worked as a PostDoc at the Sandia National Laboratories, where he is part of the team developing the many core programming model Kokkos and putting it to use in scientific applications and libraries such as Trilinos and LAMMPS.
