Jonathan Eastep

Jonathan Eastep is a Principal Engineer in the Data Center Group at Intel. He holds a doctorate from MIT in system runtime optimization technology. At Intel, he is Lead Architect of GEOPM, an open source software framework for HPC system energy management. He also leads advanced development of new hardware mechanisms for improved energy efficiency in upcoming Xeon and Xeon Phi systems. Jonathan’s research interests span software, firmware, and hardware with emphasis on codesign. His work also emphasizes holistic design from the system level down to the level of individual components on a node.
