German Ceballos

PhD Student, Uppsala University

I received my Master in Computer Science with specialization in formal methods and computability theory from FaMAF, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, in 2013. For my thesis, I worked with the GPGPU Computing Group developing a parallel, GPU-accelerated framework for solving systems of differential equations using the adaptive mesh refinement technique. I was lead by professors Oscar Reula and Nicolás Wolovick. After getting my MSc. I moved to Sweden to pursue my PhD in Computer Architecture with the Uppsala Architecture Research Team. I am currently being advised by David Black-Schaffer and Erik Hagersten, investigating resource contention in runtime systems within the UPMARC research project.
