Dr. Markus Geimer

Markus Geimer is a senior researcher at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) of Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, Germany. After receiving his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Koblenz-Landau in 2005, he joined JSC beginning of 2006 as a postdoc in the Helmholtz-University Young Investigators Group "Performance Analysis of Parallel Programs". Since then he is the lead developer of the parallel trace analysis component of the Scalasca Trace Tools. Moreover, he is involved in the design and development of the Score-P instrumentation and measurement infrastructure, as well as many training activities related to Score-P and Scalasca. Markus Geimer is currently the deputy team leader of the cross-sectional team "Parallel Performance" of JSC.
