Kazem Shekofteh

PhD candidate, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad
 

Seyed Kazem Shekofteh is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Computer Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), Mashhad, Iran. He has received his B.Sc. degree from Azad University of Mashhad in 2006, and the M.Sc. degree from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2011. His major research interests include GPU computing, scheduling techniques, and multi-core systems. He has recently been awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran to spend 6 months at the University of Heidelberg as a visiting researcher. Besides, he is now a joint member of Advanced Computer Engineering Laboratory (ACAL) and Knowledge Engineering Research Group (KERG) at FUM. He has also been selected as a top-rated student and researcher several times during past years.
