Dr. Yan Yan

Dr. Yan Yan is Executive Director of the Asia Supercomputer Community and is devoted to promoting innovative supercomputing technologies and attracting young talent worldwide to HPC.
Dr. Yan has a wealth of expertise in high tech. Previously at IDC, she developed business insights into markets for computers, tablets, and smart connected devices. Prior to joining IDC, she delivered competitive intelligence on IT and semiconductor industries for the SK Telecom Incubator. She expanded client relationships with leading consumer electronics companies at GfK - IFR Monitoring. She has also worked as a Computer Network Engineer in China and conducted her postdoctoral research on optical microfiber resonators in France. Dr. Yan holds a BS in Optics from Nankai University, a PhD in Physics from Lehigh University, and an MBA from UCLA.
