As the Exascale computing era is coming up, a new approach in the system architecture perspective is needed for system performance enhancement. New memory technology and solutions should be implemented to respond to higher performance requirement as well as power reduction challenges. This talk will cover memory technologies and solutions which Samsung is focusing on and what efforts should be made in the industry to prepare for the upcoming Exascale computing era.
