Abstract:
Quobyte is a new parallel file system that combines high-performance file system technology with the fault-tolerance and operations story of hyper-scale infrastructures like Google's. Rooted in the open-source parallel file system XtreemFS, Quobyte has been re-engineered from the ground up to allow building fast, reliable and simple storage infrastructures. In this talk we’ll take a look at its architecture and highlight how it benefits HPC deployments.
