Abstract:   The Visualization at Scale workshop is a chance for speakers to share practical expertise and experience with deploying, optimizing, and using visualization tools at scale in a variety of HPC settings. We have invited highly regarded visual-analytics practitioners and relevant vendors to discuss their approaches, workflows, and technologies. The workshop is also a forum for questions, comments, and knowledge sharing. This half-day workshop is a collaboration of KVL (KAUST Visualization Core Laboratory) and Kitware. Attendees with a base knowledge in scientific visualization will benefit by exploring larger issues and themes related to visualization tools and workflows in HPC settings. Our goal is to appeal to a wide ranging audience of visualization scientists, simulation developers, and system administrators who must collaborate to deploy, maintain, and use HPC infrastructure for scientific visualization. We hope to provide practical take-away techniques and technologies that serve as inspiration for attendees to implement or refine in their own HPC environments.

Targeted Audience
The workshop is geared towards researchers, scientists, visual-analysts, software developers, and system administrators looking for guidance or inspiration to deploy, maintain, and use HPC infrastructure for scientific visualization.
