Abstract:   This is the 3rd in the series of the workshops PRACE organises on the ISC. We have been fortunate to have as invited speakers internationally renowned researchers and r industrialists. The aim of the workshop is to create an open dialog with the EU HPC eco system stakeholders on addressing the challenges and tackling the skills gap in HPC by providing a platform to discuss a number of current issues. PRACE training efforts have been addressing the critical need to educate the next generation of HPC scientists through variety of training events and more recently the MOOC courses and opening the access to the PRACE Code Vault of best practice examples in parallel programming. This year the workshop will highlight the current education and training R&D of the PRACE partners in tackling the challenge of supporting a growing base of HPC users with little or no HPC experience as well as addressing the clearly observed convergence of Data Science and Computational Science research methods and their impact on HPC education as a whole.

Targeted Audience
The stakeholders of HPC Training worldwide: training providers, university lecturers, industry representatives interested in efficient methods of training, representatives of HPC centres, on-line learning specialists, CoE training experts and PRACE partners.
