DescriptionWe will review our experiences when applying deep learning techniques to a set of challenging problems at Shell, our novel approach to fault detection and velocity model building has open a completely new way of detecting patterns in un-process seismic data. Also, another ground-breaking application will be introduced, this one related to Digital Rock. Most of the introduced applications are implemented with Keras and TensorFlow using GPGPUs as computing backend, therefore computing performance results and analysis will be also shared.
