DescriptionDespite the demise of Dennard scaling and Moore’s Law, NVIDIA’s Tesla GPU-accelerated computing platform has continued to increase performance and efficiency generation after generation virtually unabated. This talk will explain why this has been possible, how Moore’s Law fade resistance is conferred by the GPU’s inherently-parallel architecture, and project how these attributes will enable similar and continued gains into the future even as CMOS arrives at its terminal node.
