DescriptionSupercomputing has been a strategic, game changing capability driving innovation across the scientific as well as the business community. However, as we look forward, the deluge of data from billions of connected devices and social media along with the advancements enabled by AI such as deep neural networks has opened up new opportunities for data driven modeling. This phenomenon is game changing and begs the question of whether scientific simulations should be completely overhauled. In his talk, Raj will discuss his point of view on the transformation of supercomputing and what this means to us in the HPC community.
