DescriptionI will present ongoing work on software libraries written in the quantum programming language Q# which is part of Microsoft's Quantum Development Kit. Example applications include Shor’s algorithms for factoring integers and for computing discrete logarithms on elliptic curves over prime fields. I will also review methods for estimating the resource required for implemented these and other algorithms on a scalable quantum computer.
