Biography
Dietmar Fey is a full Professor of Computer Science at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) where he leads the Chair for Computer Architecture since 2009. Before he was associate professor from 2001-2009 for Computer Engineering at University Jena. His research interests are in parallel computer architectures, memristive computing, parallel programming environments, and embedded systems. He was and is involved in several national and international research projects and initiatives on parallel and embedded computing. He authored or co-authored over 140 articles including 3 books, and about 20 papers in journals. He is a member of German Computer Society and and of HiPEAC (European Network of Excellence on High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation) and a contributor for the HiPEAC roadmap.
