Vadim Elisseev holds Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics from the P.N. Lebedev Physics Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences. Over the course of his career Vadim worked both in Academia and Industry in the fields of Laser Fusion, High Performance Computing, Distributed Computing, Cloud Computing and Energy Efficient Computing. Vadim has over thirty refereed publications. Vadim currently holds a position of a Research Staff Member with IBM Research, where he leads efforts on Energy Aware Scheduling and Cognitive and Technical Computing as a Service.
