After spending almost 20 years at the US Department Of Energy Labs as an HPC (High Performance Computing) systems architect, Greg had a very unique view into science and computational applications. During that time, he also dove deep into the open source community and founded several notable and widely known projects including CentOS Linux and Warewulf. More recently, Greg founded Singularity, an open source container technology for HPC and EPC (Enterprise Performance Computing).

Leveraging this background and experience building widely utilized products and communities, Greg has created Sylabs Inc.
