Biography
Paul Nation is a Research Staff Member at the IBM T. J. Watson Laboratory, working on the theory of quantum computation and information. He received his Ph.D. in 2010 from Dartmouth College in Hanover New Hampshire USA, focusing on the applications of superconducting circuit devices to analogue gravitational systems. Previously, he has held positions at RIKEN, the University of Michigan, Korea University, and Northrop Grumman. He is also the creator of QuTiP: Quantum Toolbox in Python, the most widely used quantum optics simulation software in the world.
