Biography
Alexander Ditter has been active in the field of high performance computing for many years. He has advised several teams at all three major student cluster competition events in China, Germany and the US. Since January 2018 he is the study coordinator for Computational Engineering (CE) and was coordinating the respective elite degree program in the scope of the Bavarian Graduate School of Computational Engineering (BGCE) at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). Currently, Alexander is actively involved in FAU's activities to develop and strengthen online learning and internationalization programs. His research focus is centred around the fusion and integration of high performance and cloud computing.
