Tianqi Xu is a third-year PhD student in Tokyo Institute of Technology, under professor Satoshi Matsuoka. His research interests include distributed file systems, burst buffer, and high performance computing. He received his M.S. in the Department of Mathematical & Computing Sciences at Tokyo Tech in 2015, and his B.S. in Department of Computer Science & Engineering at East China University of Science and Technology in 2013.
