Biography
Salma Jaliffe is the International Relationships Responsable of the Corporación Universitaria de Internet (CUDI) in México. She’s also leader in Latin America in the organisation of consortiums for research, development and innovation among continental organisations in America and different collaborations around the world, mainly with the USA and Europe. Salma Jaliffe is the Administrative/Executive Chair of the SCALAC consortium. She participates in educative and scientific projects addressed to the use of supercomputing and collaborative networks using Internet facilities and also, as chair of different conferences and formation programs. Today, she's deputy and evaluator of several collaboration networks between Europe and America Latina (also for the Americas continent). Research interests are in large scale systems, e-science and e-remote interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary actors.
