Biography
Brian Kocoloski is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science & Engineering Department at Washington University in St. Louis. The theme of his research is to make it easier to efficiently utilize large parallel computers. Most of his work focuses on system software for high performance computing (HPC) systems, where he has designed lightweight operating systems (OSes) and virtualization mechanisms to support large scale parallel applications. He received his PhD in 2017 from the University of Pittsburgh.
