Stan Tomov
Biography
Stanimire Tomov received a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Sofia University,
Bulgaria, and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Texas A\&M University. He is a Research Director
in ICL and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the EECS at UTK. Tomov's research interests are
in parallel algorithms, numerical analysis, and high-performance scientific computing
(HPC). Currently, his work is concentrated on the development of numerical linear algebra
software for emerging architectures for HPC.
