Maxwell Henderson
Biography
Dr. Maxwell (Max) Henderson received his PhD in physics from Drexel University in 2015. His thesis work was with Luis Cruz on the applicability of computational biophysics to model the dynamics of aging brains. He built three-dimensional neural network models that replicated neuronal plasticity and mobility. During his PhD studies, from 2011 until 2015, Max Henderson worked at Lockheed Martin as a Research Engineer to design algorithms using the D-Wave quantum computer to solve difficult problems and machine learning algorithms for healthcare applications. After his PhD Max Henderson worked as a data scientist / machine learning specialist at JPMorgan & Chase on graph theory and machine learning techniques to build innovative new technologies. He joined QxBranch in 2016, helping to lead the analytics team for both classical machine learning and quantum computing projects for a variety of customers in finance, insurance, pharmaceutical, and energy customer space.
