Roman Belenov
Biography
Roman Belenov received his MSc degree in physics from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod in 1999. He joined Intel in 2000, working on media applications development, later shifting focus to code optimization and analysis. Currently Roman is a member of pathfinding team at Intel working on research & prototyping of new features for performance analysis tools. His current focus is in characterization of compute and memory access behaviour of programs, including roofline model and its extensions, and making the analysis techniques available to code developers. His professional interests are in the areas of performance analysis tools, parallel programming, code modernization. He served as a copresenter at DoE+Intel Roofline workshop and presented at CATC 2016.
