Biography
Sarah Neuwirth is a research staff member under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Brüning at the Institute of Computer Engineering, University of Heidelberg. She has worked on the software communication stack for the EXTOLL network technology. In 2015, she established a research cooperation with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where she has researched and developed several I/O balancing libraries. Her research interests include interconnect technologies, parallel file systems, and communication protocols. Sarah Neuwirth holds a master degree (Dipl.-Inf.) in computer science from the University of Mannheim and is a PhD candidate in computer engineering at the University of Heidelberg.
