Presenter

Marc Casas is a senior researcher at the
Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Prior to this,
he spent 3 years as a post-doctoral fellow at
the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
(LLNL). He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees
in mathematics in 2004 from the UPC and
the PhD in Computer Science in 2010 from the
Computer Architecture Department of UPC. His
research interests are high performance computing,
runtime systems and parallel algorithms.
