David has a BSc in Engineering in Informatics in the Polytechnical University of Catalunya (UPC). He has more than 12 years experience in the HPC field. From March 2007, he is in charge of the user support and application consulting area for all the supercomputers of the BSC giving support to more than 2,000 users and 250 International and National research projects. During last 7 years, he has participated in different European projects regarding infrastructures such as PRACE, EUDAT or RDA-Europa.He has been the Principal Investigator for BSC in the following projects: EUDAT, EUDAT2020, RDA-Europa and EOSC-hub.
