She is part of the software development team of PUMA, a software framework that implements a partition of unity (PUM) approach for the solution of partial differential equations. Her research focuses on the application of the PUM approach to the Schrödinger eigenproblem. Ms Albrecht studied mathematics at the University of Bonn where she specialized in numerical mathematics. In 2017 she received the Ada Lovelace-Prize of the INS for her master thesis.
