Pei Yang

Biography
Pei Yang is a data scientist and machine learning developer at Dell EMC HPC&AI Innovation Lab. His work is mainly on developing machine learning models for large scale data on high performance computing platforms. Applications of the models include financial services, retails and E-commerce industries, etc.
Before working at Dell, Pei Yang had got experience in data science and machine learning from DeepCast.ai (a startup in energy industry) and J-Tech Digital INC. (a startup in E-commerce). Also, he had experience working with large scale seismic data from the oil service company CGG.
Pei Yang got a PhD degree in applied math in 2015 from University of Houston. His PhD research was on high order numerical methods for partial differential equations. Also, Pei Yang got a bachelor’s degree in physics in 2009 from University of Science and Technology of China.
