Nils Kohl finished his BSc in mathematics in 2014 and completed his MSc in computer science in 2017, both at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In 2017 he started working as a research assistant at the Chair for System Simulation under the supervision of Professor Ulrich Rüde. His research interests include software design for large scale simulation applications, performance engineering and parallel numerical algorithms, with a focus on finite elements and multigrid methods.
