While at the Heidelberg University, Dirk Frey was involved in the development of network attached accelerators in the scope of the DEEP project preceding DEEP-ER and DEEP-EST. Since end of 2018 he is with the EXTOLL Company as a FPGA firmware developer and verification engineer. He is currently working on implementing high-speed / high-capacity network attached memory featuring volatile / non-volatile memory.
