Oliver is an HPC field application engineer at Arm, working directly with customers to aid in the adoption of Arm based scientific computing. Oliver has worked at Arm for over 2 years with a focus on HPC tools and application porting and optimisation. As part of this role Oliver delivers end user training for institutions looking to port application to Arm based systems, and support for their optimisation. Topics include the Arm architecture, software ecosystem, tool and SVE. Prior to working at Arm Oliver was an application engineer in an industry setting for the maintenance and development of a large-scale production physics application, written in Fortran.
