Bill has worked on HPC performance tools since 2007, first with the Dyninst group at UW-Madison and now with ZIH at TU-Dresden. At Wisconsin, his research focus was binary analysis and parsing in support of the relocation, instrumentation, and modification of binary code. He joined the ZIH in 2018, where his current focus is on analysis of I/O and HPC workflows.
