Taisuke Boku is a professor of Center for Computational Sciences, University of Tsukuba, developing HPC systems, programming system and applications. He has been working for the development and deployment of most of supercomputers in University of Tsukuba as well as the system designer and manager of Oakforest-PACS, the fastest university supercomputer in Japan based on Intel KNL and OPA. He has been also working for HPCI consortium to manage supercomputer infrastructure in Japan. His current interests include GPU and FPGA acceleration for HPC workloads. He is a coauthor of 2011 Gordon Bell Prize awarded paper.
