Dr. Manal Jalloul received her BE in Electrical and Communication Engineering from Beirut Arab university in 2007 and her ME and PhD from the American University of Beirut in 2009 and 2016, all with distinction. She is currently a lecturer and post-doctoral researcher at the ECE department in AUB. She is also a certified instructor and University Ambassador at NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute. Her research interests lie in the fields of video and image processing, filter design, game theory, Deep Learning, heuristic optimization, and parallel programming. She has published more than 15 papers in peer-reviewed conferences and Journals. Aside from the academic field, she's providing consultancy services in the fields of Digital Image Processing, 3D Printing, and AI to several high-tech startup companies.
