Biography
Chao Yang is a professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Peking University and a vice director of the Center for Computational Science and Engineering, Peking University. His research interests include numerical analysis and modeling, large-scale scientific computing, and high-performance intelligent computing. He has published over 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals and premier conferences, and has won a series of awards including the 2016 ACM Gordon Bell Prize, the 2017 CCF-IEEE CS Young Computer Scientist Award and the 2017 CAS Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Prize.
