Mauricio Ferrato is a first year graduate student at the University of Delaware studying Computer Science. His research expertise relates to parallel programming models and machine learning. Mauricio is currently working with Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children on developing machine learning models that predict adverse effects in patients with sickle cell disease. Mauricio is also working with SPEC HPG integrating a highly parallel application to the SPEC HPC2020 Benchmark suite.
