Torsten Wilde
Biography
Torsten Wilde (Ph.D.) is a system architect for Exascale monitoring and management and lead architect for Exascale system power and energy management at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Previously, he was a senior HPC research scientist and research manager at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ), Munich, Germany. He led LRZ’s research activities on energy efficient HPC data center design and operation with focus on developing methods to improve power effectiveness and energy efficiency across the entire data center, from infrastructure to application scheduling. Torsten received his MSc in parallel and scientific computation from the University of Liverpool, UK, and a MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, in 2018.
