Nash Palaniswamy
Biography
Dr. Nash Palaniswamy is the General Manager for AI and HPC Solutions and Sales in the Data Center Group at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for developing AI and HPC solutions for data center customers and delivering on overall AI and HPC revenue for DCG.

Nash’s team drives global AI & HPC opportunities (solutions, architecture, products, business framework, etc) in traditional modeling and simulation, ADAS, Connected Car Cloud, HPC/AI at the edge, AI in HPC, National Initiatives such as Exascale, India National Supercomputer Mission, and other country supercomputing missions, weather installations worldwide, commercial AI and HPC enterprise opportunities in the Energy, manufacturing, health and life Sciences, and financial services vertical with Intel’s ecosystem partners.

His prior responsibilities at Intel included being the strategy lead for Intel® QuickAssist Technology based accelerators in the datacenter, and World Wide Web Consortium Advisory Committee representative from Intel. Prior to joining Intel as part of the acquisition of Conformative Systems, an XML Accelerator Company, he has served in several senior executive positions in the industry including being the Director of System Architecture at Conformative Systems, CTO/VP of Engineering at MSU Devices (a publicly traded company), and Director of Java Program Office and Wireless Software Strategy in the Digital Experience Group of Motorola, Inc.

Nash holds 4 patents and has contributed to numerous technical publications to refereed technical journals and conferences. He was honored with an Intel Achievement Award in 2014 for his contribution to the #1 system in the Top 500 list in 2013.

Dr. Palaniswamy holds a B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University (Chennai, India) in 1988 and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
