Andreas Gocht studied Electrical Engineering at Technische Universität Chemnitz where he received his B.Sc. in 2011. Afterwards, he continued his studies at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel finishing with a M.Sc. on the same subject in 2014. After an Internship at digisoft.tv in Ireland, he started his current position as a Research Associate for the READEX project at Technische Universität Dresden in 2015. In the PhD thesis, he is currently writing, he researches the possibilities to exploit machine learning mechanisms for an energy-efficient online tuning of scientific applications.
