Biography
Carina Haupt is head of the group “Software Engineering“ in the department “Intelligent and Distributed Systems” at the DLR institute of Simulation and Software Technology. Her research topics are software engineering and knowledge management. In this fields she is mainly interested in supporting domain scientist from all over the world in their work by creating software and process based solutions for their day to day problems. In 2018 she became founding member of the de-RSE society. Further interests of her are Open Source, Provenance, and the Semantic Web.

Before coming to DLR in 2013 she worked at the University of Bonn, Fraunhofer SCAI and in the industry. She has a Master in Computer Science from the University of applied sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Germany.
