Steve Conway
Biography
As head of research for global HPC industry analyst firm Hyperion Research, Steve Conway conducts studies for government and private sector clients in the Americas, EMEA and the Asia-Pacific region. He also leads Hyperion Research's practice in high performance data analysis and AI. Mr. Conway contributed chapters to the 2015 book, Industrial Applications of High-Performance Computing (CRC Press) and was the principal author of the 2017 study whose findings will form the basis for his ISC talk, Worldwide Best Practices in Partnerships between HPC Centers and Industrial Users (National Science Foundation Award #1560770), conducted under NCSA. A former Senior Fulbright Fellow, Mr. Conway had a 12-year academic career at Boston University and Harvard University. He holds B.A, and M.A. degress in German literature from Columbia University and an M.A. in comparative literature from Brandeis University, where he also completed doctoral coursework and exams.
