Biography
Takeshi Ogita is a professor of Numerical Analysis at Tokyo Woman's Christian University (TWCU), Tokyo and a guest professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, Tokyo. He received his Ph.D. in Information Science from Waseda University in 2003. After completion of his degree he was appointed as a Visiting Lecturer (full-time) in the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Waseda University. In 2008 he moved to the College of Arts and Sciences at TWCU
as a Lecturer. He serves as the Director of the Center for Information Science at TWCU since 2014. His work focuses specifically on verified numerical computations for numerical linear algebra and development of accurate numerical algorithms. He also serves a Leader of Exploratory Challenge "Development of verified numerical computations and super high-performance computing environment for extreme researches", Post-K Supercomputer Project (FLAGSHIP 2020), MEXT, Japan.
