Biography
Francesco Paolo Rizzuto is a first-year Ph.D. student in Astrophysics at Max Planck for
Astrophysics (MPA) in Garching. His main research interest centers on the formation of
very massive black holes in globular clusters and nuclear star clusters by
exploiting direct n-body simulations.
He obtains a postgraduate degree at Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich. His M.A. Thesis
focuses on the exploration of large scale structure formation in the Warm Dark Matter
paradigm with the help of high resolution cosmological N-body simulations.
He holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Trieste in Italy.
For his Ph.D. Thesis, he is working under the supervision of Thorsten Naab (MPA) and Rainer Spurzem (NAOC/CAS).
