Biography
Tao Xie received the PhD degree in computer science from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2006. He is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the San Diego State University. His research interests are storage systems, high performance computing, cluster and Grid computing, parallel and distributed systems. He received the US NSF CAREER Award in 2009 and IPDPS Best Paper Award in 2013. He is a member of the IEEE and the ACM.
