Biography
Gagandeep Singh is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Eindhoven University of Technology in NeMeCo (Near-Memory Computing) project. Since 2018, he has been working at IBM Research-Zurich lab with the heterogeneous cognitive computing group. He received his M.Sc. (with distinction) specializing in Integrated Circuit Design in a joint masters program from Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2017. From 2016 to 2017, he was a visiting scholar with IMEC, Belgium working on segmented bus architecture for neuromorphic computing using TFT and 3D stacking. He has two years of industry experience in Oracle as a software developer. His main research interests include computer architecture, machine learning, FPGA design, and HPC.
